Colossians 1:9-14
"For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; So that you might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, who has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: And who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins:"

PSALM 1
Blessed is the man that does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law he does meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
that brings forth his fruit in his season;
his leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For the Lord knowes the way of the righteous:
but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
